Communicating Climate Data
2012
In 2012 Chloe developed a range of visual and physical tools to represent climate data in a tangible way for children.
This included models of different foods weighted to communicate it’s associated carbon emissions – the heavier the less sustainable the transport, growing efficiency, livestock, use of fertilisers and other factors of the food. Alongside Inflatable Men, which showed different countries average carbon emissions per person. These included imports and exports and resulted in Australia as the largest man – with a small population and high imports.
